Three of the city's five worst landlords are in The Bronx, according to a list released by New York City Public Advocate Bill de Blasio. Of all the buildings across New York City, the report says that 2201 Jerome Ave. is the worst to live in. Residents say their elevator is broken, several windows need to be replaced and their mailboxes are not secure. However, advocacy groups say residents should organize if they want to see obvious changes. "In these buildings, it's not just one tenant that has a problem with heat or hot water," says Susanna Blankley, of Community Action for Safe Apartments. "It's everybody."
