James Corden, the host of “The Late Late Show,” is returning to television tonight with “Homefest,” a show that is being recorded in his own garage.
Corden told “CBS This Morning” that he wanted to remind people that despite our physical distance, we are still connected.
His star-studded lineup includes performers around the world. It will feature Billie Eilish in California, BTS from South Korea and Andre Bocelli in Tuscany.
Will Ferrell, Dua Lipa, magician David Blaine and John Legend are also expected to make appearances on the show.
Cordon told CBS that everyone he asked agreed to perform, and that they all wanted to show the world that they are also in the same boat.
The special broadcast is raising money for Feed the Children and the CDC Foundation.
