40-year-old Jackson Township man dies in Howell motorcycle crash

Police say the Jackson Township man was traveling on Manassa Road in Howell and ran off the roadway to the right for an unknown reason.

Howell police are looking for witnesses of a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred on Sunday. They say a 40-year-old man from Jackson Township was pronounced dead after crashing into a utility pole shortly after midnight.
Police say the man was traveling southbound on Manassa Road and ran off the roadway to the right for an unknown reason. While running off the roadway, police say the motorcycle collided with a utility pole.
The crash is under investigation. Anyone with more information can call Daniel Scherbinski of the Howell Township Police Traffic Safety Unity at 732-938-4575, ext. 2663.
