Family Advocate Care Experience is sponsoring a traveling sign campaign that will move 300 signs across New Jersey this week, highlighting the effects of isolation on long-term care residents.
The campaign is also part of an effort to get an immediate visitation plan to allow in-room caregiving visits for residents who have suffered too long from isolation.
Family members of FACE NJ will post the signs that read #IsolationKillsToo in multiple locations across the state. The signs will feature the names of people who have died or are living in isolation.
The campaign comes during the one-year anniversary week of lockdown in long-term care communities in the state.
