An Oceanside woman charged in a drunk driving crash that killed two people on the Southern State Parkway is now facing new charges.

Diana Kutateladze pleaded not guilty to charges, including aggravated vehicular homicide and vehicular manslaughter.

Prosecutors say Kutateladze’s blood alcohol content was nearly twice the legal limit when she hit the victims on the Southern State Parkway on March 15.

Donald and Liscent Maxwell were killed in the crash.

Prosecutors say Kutateladze drove over a guardrail and into oncoming traffic and hit three other vehicles.

"They never stood a chance, they were killed. The violent impact of this crash caused unimaginable deadly injuries and Liscent was decapitated, and Donald's body was completely crushed,” said Nassau District Attorney Anne Donnelly.

Kutateladze was remanded without bail and is due back in court on May 20.
