Authorities say that a group of prison inmates caused a sewer leak at the Ocean County Jail Sunday.
The prisoners apparently stuffed jumpsuits into the toilets and clogged them. This then caused a sewer line to break.
Sewage leaked into one of the courtrooms, causing severe damage. Officials say that half of the building has been closed since the incident occurred.
Crews were at the jail Tuesday taking out debris and working to fix the leak. They say that cleanup may take a few more days.
