An injured hawk found at a Jersey City police station is on the mend after he was rescued by police.
Officers with the Port Authority and PATH police teamed up to rescue Rico the Hawk.
He was named by one of the officers who helped him after he was found with an injured wing inside the Exchange Place police station.
Rico was unable to move and was sitting near the third rail of the tracks.
The power was cut and Rico was taken away for rehab with the hope that he will fly again.
