The staff at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center held an impromptu graduation ceremony for a new mother.
Kianda Wilchcombe was supposed to join her classmates at the Montclair State University graduation ceremony on Tuesday.
However, she gave birth to her child two weeks early and wound up missing the festivities.
Staffers at the medical center said they didn't want her to miss out on her big day, so they brought the celebration to her instead.
