The mother of a 7-year-old who beat Non-Hodgkins lymphoma but is now battling Leukemia is imploring New Jersey residents to donate bone marrow.
Kelly Terry's daughter Mya needs a bone marrow transplant to survive. Terry and her family are getting tested to see if they are viable donors and requesting the public do it too. Testing isn't as evasive as the actual donation and only consists of a cheek swabbing.
"My daughter will not survive without it," says Terry.
