The state of New Jersey has created a new campaign in the hopes of urging more people to visit state parks.
The DEP wants residents to show off their love for the outdoors, specifically the more than 50 state parks and recreation areas located from High Point to Cape May.
The campaign is called #IHeartNJParks.
NJ DEP Commissioner Catherine McCabe released a video recently promoting the states’ dozens of parks.
More than 450,000 acres of New Jersey land falls under the state parks banner. Officials want residents to take a selfie using the hashtag, and go to the
NJ state parks Facebook page and add the picture frame around your favorite photos.
When you post on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook, say what you love about the park you're visiting.
