A man helping some of the fire victims in the Lakewood/Brick brush fire a week ago Sunday had his pickup truck stolen from a parking lot.
Reverend Steve Brigham says someone jumped in and drove off in his White Chevy Silverado.
"I need that truck desperately to take care of the poor and the homeless of this area,” says Brigham. "The items that I need, the camping equipment, the tents, the sleeping bags, and the different camping equipment I need for the homeless that are out here. Again, there is no shelter in Ocean County. So, the homeless that are born and raised here have to set up in the woods a lot of times."
Brigham says he transports the items in his truck. He has filed a police report.
