‘I don’t see it’: Gov. Murphy speaks on possible lockdown amid rising COVID-19 cases

Health experts are ramping up the warnings on the omicron variant. But Gov. Phil Murphy says currently there's no need to make drastic changes to his COVID-19 protocols.

Health experts are ramping up the warnings on the omicron variant. But Gov. Phil Murphy says currently there's no need to make drastic changes to his COVID-19 protocols.

On Fox News Sunday, the governor was asked if he would consider locking down the state again?
“You have to leave it on the table, but I don't see it Brett, honestly,” says Murphy. “Among other reasons we have a very high degree of vaccinations. Folks are getting boosted which clearly gives another layer of protection against this."
The governor says just like everyone else, he too has covid fatigue.
