Hitting the road for a good cause – 600 cyclists rode across New York and New Jersey on Thursday to support children with serious illnesses.

The effort was part of Bike-4 Chai.

The annual event raised more than $10 million this year, as well as $50 million over the past 12 years.

All of the proceeds go to Chai Lifeline – an international children's health support network that helps kids with life-threatening diseases.
