Fire crews were back on scene Thursday morning in Wall Township after house that caught fire Christmas Day reignited.
The fire originally began Wednesday around 2 p.m. in the Apple Ridge neighborhood in south Wall Township on Peter Court.
The residents made it out of the house safely, but a family pet did not survive.
The fire reignited Thursday morning. Smoke and flames were seen coming from the second floor of the three-story house. No one was inside at the time.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
