At least two people were injured, including a firefighter as a result of a house fire Monday night.

The fire started around 9 p.m. inside 3008 Atlantic Ave. in the Allenwood section of Wall Township.

News 12 New Jersey has learned that two people were inside the home when the fire started. A woman was taken to Jersey Shore Medical Center to be treated for injuries, the extent of which were not immediately known.

Another person was also pulled from the home, but it was not clear what injuries that person may have sustained.

A firefighter was also treated for minor injuries.

It was not immediately clear what caused the fire.
