Two veterans from South Plainfield were part of an honorary group of 100 veterans who were gifted with the keys to newly refurbished vehicles as part of a military initiative by Progressive.

It was part of Progressive's seventh annual Keys to Progress event, in which vehicles are given to military families at more than 60 locations across the country.

"It means everything, now I could move on forward with my life," says Air Force veteran Carle Monte.

Over the years, Progressive has donated time and resources to provide more than 700 military families with reliable transportation.
