Multiple firefighters injured while battling blaze in Hillsdale, arson investigators on scene

The Hillsdale Fire Department posted an alert around 3:27 a.m. saying crews were actively working a second alarm fire and more details would follow later.

Multiple firefighters were taken to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries after battling a fire early Tuesday morning on Ellen Court in Hillsdale.
The Hillsdale Fire Department posted an alert around 3:27 a.m. saying crews were actively working a second alarm fire and more details would follow later.
Damage from the blaze was visible on the outside of the home. It’s not yet known if the house is inhabitable or if anyone was inside when the fire started.
EMS crews were seen loading at least one person into an ambulance. Officials have not confirmed if the individual was a resident or a first responder.
Arson investigators from the Prosecutor's Office responded to the scene and initiated a joint investigation.
Fire and police crews at the location declined to comment.
