A 49-year-old man became trapped under a 200-pound rock while he was hiking Saturday along the Cresskill Brook in Demarest, police say.
The rock gave way and pinned the man. Police say he then became partially submerged in water and couldn’t move.
Police from multiple departments and responders from surrounding fire departments managed to locate the man and helped to free him.
