High winds damaged a gas station Saturday in Pompton Lakes.
The Passaic County Sheriff's Office said it happened around 1:15 p.m. The canopy of a Delta gas station was blown off, knocking over a fuel pump.
About a gallon of fuel spilled onto the pavement. County hazmat and health officials responded to evaluate and nobody was injured, authorities said.
Officials said crews will have to wait until Monday to determine the best way to remove the canopy.
