The Deptford Township Police Department marked one year Sunday since a March 2023 shooting that later resulted in the death of an officer.

The department posted to Facebook that it's been one year since of the shooting of Patrol Officer Robert "Bobby" Shisler.

Shisler died in May 2023 after he was shot by an armed suspect.

The department called Shisler "heroic and brave."
