Thunderstorms are moving through central and southern parts of New Jersey this afternoon.
Showers have been steady near Barnegat Bay as thunderstorms are producing heavy rain, lightning and hail in some areas.
Minor flooding has been seen at the intersection of Boulevard and Hiering avenues in Seaside Heights, as well as in parts of Seaside Park.
Fortunately, wind gusts have been under 10 miles per hour.
Strong storms are still expected to develop and continue to move through parts of Central and North Jersey later this evening.
