FORECAST:
It remains cool and cloudy with highs today near 72 degrees. Showers and sprinkles are expected to be random today with a northeast wind turning southeasterly through the day. Humidity remains lower in northern NJ but it begins to increase tonight with the southerly wind.
The tropical feel returns tomorrow. Showers will pass through into the morning in northern NJ tomorrow, but the beaches should hold up. It will be mostly cloudy with enough sun in the morning to warm things rapidly. Highs reach 88-90 degrees on Saturday. There should be enough time to go to the beach before the afternoon storms pop up. Unfortunately, it is not an all-day beach day, but with storms firing up at 3 p.m., they will last through the late afternoon and evening. These thunderstorms will produce lots of lightning as they pass given the amount of humidity and the front pushing them through.
This clears out the humidity for Sunday leaving for a gorgeous mostly sunny sky with lower humidity and warm temperatures. It is a perfect day.
Monday remains fair with late-day clouds and perhaps a few showers in the evening, mostly in South Jersey.
