Highs on Wednesday crossed into the 90s for the third day in a row, marking the second heat wave for Central Park of 2025.
More widespread thunderstorm chances roll through slowly on Thursday. These could have slow moving downpours leading to flash flooding, as the same areas could experience heavy-torrential rainfall repeatedly throughout the evening and night.
A lot of this rain could happen during the evening commute, potentially leading to problems with closed roads from flooding. As a reminder, never drive through flooded roads.
We get our nasty weather out of the way during the work week, which will set the stage for a very nice weekend! Highs in the low 80s and dry days with sunshine and clouds.
OVERNIGHT: Spotty showers and storms clear out, then partly cloudy skies. Lows in the higher 70s and still humid.

FRIDAY: Early shower and storm chance. Evening spotty showers clear. Highs in the low 70s, lows in the middle 60s.
THE WEEKEND: Sun and clouds, dry, highs in the low 80s and lows in the mid- to high 60s. Looking perfect for outdoor activities all weekend long!
