The legendary Harlem Globetrotters played at Total Mortgage Arena in Bridgeport on Tuesday – part of the team’s “100 Year World Tour.”

The team says that – in that time – they've played in front of 148 million fans in 123 countries.

Representing the Nutmeg State on the team is Hartford-native Brandon "Hi Rise" Mitchell.

The Globetrotters' very own Lucius "Too Tall" Winston told News 12 that he's proud to be part of such a legacy.

"Just to hear all the stories, all the games. And just some of the issues they had to deal with back in those times. Playing for two separate crowds sometimes,” said Winston. “But also, just ultimately bringing everybody together and just making people happy for 100 years is what the Globetrotters are all about."

The tour runs through April.
