The Half Hollow Hills West High School girls volleyball team is a top seed in the Suffolk County playoffs. On Tuesday night, it showed why it earned that honor.
The Colts beat eighth seeded John Glenn 3-0 in the opening round of the girls brackets.
The Colts have lost only five sets all season so the shutout came as no surprise. It's the second time this season they have shutout John Glenn.
Mary Wolcott had 11 kills and 10 assists and her sister, Morgan, had 10 kills and three aces.
Senior captain Ava Blasi had 20 assists.
