Hadden Township High School was temporarily evacuated on Friday after a student brought a “potentially dangerous substance” into the school.
The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office says that the school was evacuated around 11:15 a.m. after the incident was reported.
The Haddon Township police and fire departments, Camden County Prosecutor’s Office and Camden County Hazmat Team responded to the school.
Students were allowed back inside around 30 minutes later after the school was deemed safe. The nature of the substance was unclear.
