The Department of Public Works is blaming an aging infrastructure for the raw sewage that has continued to leak into basements and lawns in Hackensack since Tuesday.
Officials say sewer lines are the number one issue for Hackensack. Residents of the Heritage Apartments on Hudson Street were quick to agree.
