(AP) - A New Jersey grand jury has indicted aCalifornia man accused of fatally shooting his estranged wife andtwo bystanders in a Clifton church in November.
Chief Assistant Passaic County Prosecutor John Latoracca says27-year-old Joseph Pallipurath of Sacramentowas indicted Tuesday on two counts of murder, one count ofattempted murder and several weapons counts.
A message left for Pallipurath's lawyer, Harley D. Breite, wasnot immediately returned.
The Nov. 23 shooting took place inside the St. Thomas SyrianOrthodox Knanaya Church in Clifton.
Pallipurath is accused of killing his estranged wife,24-year-old Reshma James, and 25-year-old Dennis John Malloosseril, a church member.
Silvy Perincheril, James' second cousin, was shot in the headbut survived.
