New Jersey’s six mega COVID-19 vaccination sites will remain closed on Tuesday as a major blizzard blankets the state.
Gov. Phil Murphy says that individual health care providers will be reaching out to patients via phone or email to reschedule any appointments that were made to receive the vaccine.
The governor says that the state’s vaccination call center will remain open to pre-register patients, answer questions and provide any other information about the vaccine. But the center will not be making any appointments until the weather improves.
A nor’easter moving through the state is expected to drop more than 24 inches of snow on parts of the state through Tuesday.
