Gov. Murphy: 935 new cases of coronavirus in New Jersey, 7 additional deaths

Gov. Phil Murphy has announced 935 new cases of coronavirus in New Jersey, bringing the statewide total to 2,844.

Gov. Murphy has announced 935 new cases of coronavirus in New Jersey, bringing the statewide total to 2,844.

The governor also announced seven more deaths, bringing the statewide total to 27.

Of the seven new deaths, five were males and two were females with age ranges from 57-91. Two had pre-existing conditions, and one was associated with a long-term health care facility.
The victims were from, Warren, Somerset, Union, two in Bergen, Passaic, and Essex counties.
Gov. Murphy has also suspended all elective surgeries and invasive procedures to preserve essential equipment and hospital capacity.
