Gov. Phil Murphy started his daily news briefing Friday talking about the state’s next step in stage two of restart and recovery.
Businesses such as beauty shops, barber shops, and massage parlors can reopen Monday.
The governor reminds people to wear face coverings, keep social distances, and wash hands.
The statewide total number of coronavirus cases in New Jersey now stands at 168,496, after Gov. Phil Murphy just announced 516 new cases. The governor also announced 37 additional deaths, bringing the statewide death toll to 12,835.
The governor also announced beginning Father’s Day, nursing homes, assisted living residences, dementia care homes, pediatric transitional care homes, and comprehensive personal care homes will be able to permit visitors in designated outdoor spaces.
