Gov. Chris Christie is kicking off Memorial Day weekend with several stops at the shore, including one with News 12 New Jersey's Luke Margolis.
The governor talked about the dune replenishment project, the Sandy Bill of Rights, the gun ammunition ban and how the Christie family plans to spend the holiday.
But the governor also talked about the Sandy recovery progress and the status of rebuilding on the Jersey Shore.
"We still have work to do on rebuilding homes, as you know, but we're much better than we were a year ago and on the business side, I think we're very close to complete in terms of what we're doing for people who want to rebuild and get back into business," says Christie.
The full interview will air all weekend on Power and Politics.
