Golfers get sense of normalcy as courses open up in Garden State

Tee times filled up within minutes after Gov. Phil Murphy signed an executive order that opened golf courses this week – and it was a beautiful, sunny day for a round.

Tee times filled up within minutes after Gov. Phil Murphy signed an executive order that opened golf courses this week – and it was a beautiful, sunny day for a round.
There are restrictions in place statewide. All bathrooms and pro shops are closed, and no cash is to be exchanged.
Tee times are also limited to two players and golf carts are being sanitized after each use.
Gov. Murphy says everyone must follow the rules or he will be forced to shut down golf courses again.
Golfers at Charleston Springs Golf Club in Millstone Township told News 12 that getting back on the course brought a sense of normalcy after weeks of sheltering in place.
