Girl Scouts from Point Pleasant Borough were "paying it forward" Wednesday with acts of kindness.
The girls from Girl Scout Troop 300 set up on the Manasquan boardwalk to hand out free lemonade and decorated seashells.
"My mom is troop leader and she wants us to learn how to respect and not be rude, and respect the world and be kind to other people," said scout Anna McCourt.
The girls said that they hope others pay it forward after getting their treats through actions like holding doors open for others or picking up trash.
The scouts are heading into the sixth grade, and they said that they hope to earn a Bronze Award for their hours of service.
