A 70-foot wooden structure made its way down Belmont Avenue Saturday in honor of the Feast of Saint Anthony.

A group of men lifted a four-ton Giglio with just their shoulders on 187th Street in front of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. The men have been members of the Giglio society since they were children, and perform the dance of the Giglio for the Feast of Saint Anthony.

The average weight broken down to each man's shoulders is about 75 pounds, and each song in the procession lasts three to four minutes. The lift of the Giglio has been called a passionate, religious and sacrificial lift.
