The Tommy DeVito craze rages on.
From third string to starting quarterback, the Cedar Grove native has made a name for himself with Big Blue ever since his NFL debut at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford back in October.
DeVito brought a crowd out to Primo Hoagies in Wayne. The New York Giants quarterback helped with the grand opening at the hoagie shop and signed autographs. The store says fans waited hours to get an autograph from the 25-year-old rookie.
“A huge huge huge thank you to @tommydevito for being so kind, spending time with us and meeting so many amazing fans and guests!” the shop posted on Instagram.
DeVito, a former quarterback at Don Bosco Prep, has led the Giants to two straight wins. He won his first NFL game last week against the Washington Commanders.
The Giants are off this week. It’s unclear if DeVito is going to start in the next game against the Green Bay Packers as Tyrod Taylor could come back.
