Cedar Grove native and New York Giants quarterback Tommy DeVito won his first NFL game Sunday against the Washington Commanders.

DeVito was sacked nine times but showed his Jersey toughness by persevering and throwing for 246 yards and three touchdowns.

DeVito was previously the quarterback at Don Bosco Prep. He won a state championship in 2015 at MetLife Stadium.
