The Giants will have their starting quarterback for the 2020 season as the deadline to opt out due to COVID-19 concerns has passed.
Daniel Jones announced he's playing this season.
"I don't have those situations," says Jones. "I live by myself and am healthy so I think everyone needs to treat it and consider their own personal situation."
Three Giants players have opted out for the season. Tackle Nate Solder, receiver Da'Mari Scott and cornerback Sam Beal are among around 60 players from around the league who have decided not to play.
Jones says he fully supports his colleagues. He is now ready to focus on working with first-year head coach Joe Judge.
