A Georgia man accused of shooting a woman in Denville was arrested on Thursday, according to police.

Morris County prosecutors say the victim was found on the side of Boonton Road with a gunshot wound to her stomach on Wednesday.

She was hospitalized for treatment, and her condition is unknown as of Sunday morning.

The events leading to the shooting are unclear.

Jovan Young was taken to the Morris County Jail and awaits his first court appearance.
