? As New Jersey?s highest court prepares to rule on the legality of same-sex marriage, a Teaneck couple is upset over the president?s stance on the issue.
Steven Goldstein and Daniel Gross were married twice, in Canada and Vermont, but not in New Jersey. Goldstein, who is the chairman of the Garden State Equality group, says he is on pins and needles waiting for the court?s decision. Goldstein and Gross say President George Bush?s call for a constitutional amendment that would ban gay marriage is about politics.
Bush used his weekly radio address to call for defining marriage as the union between a man and woman.
