Gas prices are still high but remain steady in New Jersey.  
The national average is $3.41 a gallon. In California, it’s $4.70. The cheapest prices in the country are in Oklahoma, just under $3.00.  
In New Jersey, it costs $3.45 a gallon. Somerset County has been a high spot in the state, for $3.55 a gallon.
