Garfield man tried to lure 2 children into his vehicle, prosecutor says

Bergen County prosecutors say a Garfield man has been charged of sexually assaulting a child who was 14 years old or younger in July.  

Jarrell Taver-Hudon, 32, was arrested and charged with first-degree aggravated sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child, according to prosecutors. They say the sexual assault happened on one occasion.

Taver-Hudon was placed in Bergen County Jail pending his first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack. 

It’s unclear how Taver-Hudon knew the teen.
