Many New Jersey business owners say it?s getting harder to survive in the Garden State, according to a new business survey.
This year?s Business and Industry survey shows some of the lowest levels of economic confidence in more than a decade. Survey results show 51 percent of business owners think economic conditions will get worse in 2007.
A Business and Industry representative believes the survey results show the state is becoming unaffordable not only to live in, but to operate a business in as well. Owners are blaming high taxes and high health care costs as reasons for such low economic confidence. Some business owners say despite the hard times, they won?t give up their businesses.
