Funeral plans have been announced for the Bergen County man who was among eight killed this week when a pickup truck barreled down a New York City bike path.
The visitation for Darren Drake, 32, will be held Saturday afternoon at the Boulevard Funeral Home and Cremation Service in New Milford. Visitation hours will be held from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m.
A funeral Mass will be held Monday in the Church of the Ascension at 9:30 a.m., followed by burial at Fairview Cemetery.
Drake was a project manager for Moody's Investors Service at the World Trade Center. He was out for a bike ride between meetings Tuesday when the truck hit and killed him, in what is being called a terrorist attack.
His father, James Drake, says that he drove Darren every day to the train terminal in suburban Hoboken so he could commute to his job in the city.
