Residents in the Garden State will be forced to brave an artic blast over the next several days.Bitter temperatures arrived Wednesday from the Midwest and it will only get colder. Temperatures struggled to hit 20 degrees Wednesday in northern and western parts of the state, while the remainder of New Jersey saw temperatures in the upper 20s. Some snow is expected to pass over the Garden State by Thursday morning. Up to an inch of snow is possible for central parts of the state and northern parts may see up to three inches of snow.Temperatures will then stay in the upper teen's and low 20s until Sunday. As the weekend approaches, New Jersey will likely experience temperatures as low as 5 degrees.
