A Franklin Township school bus monitor will be facing more serious changes related to the suffocation death of a 6-year-old student with special needs this past July.
Amanda Davila now faces first-degree aggravated manslaughter charges in the death of Fajr Williams.
Prosecutors say that Davila failed to notice or act on the fact that Williams was being strangled by her wheelchair harness.
They say that Davila was wearing earbuds and was playing on her phone at the time and did not notice anything was wrong until the bus arrived at school.
