Franklin Borough police are warning the public about a woman who is allegedly scamming people out of money by selling fake New York Jets and Giants football tickets on social media.
Police say Alicia Pallozzi is trying to scam people out of thousands of dollars by advertising that she is selling NFL football game packages through MetLife Stadium. But she does not have any tickets to sell, according to police.
Multiple victims have come forward, telling police that they have been scammed by Pallozzi.
Police have issued a warrant for Pallozzi's arrest and have charged her with theft by deception. They say she drives a silver Chevy Traverse with New Jersey license plates. She also goes by the names Alicia Kurtyka and Alicia Kaegi.
Anyone who has information about Pallozzi's whereabouts, or who believes they may have been scammed by her, is urged to call Franklin Borough police at 973-827-7700.
