With tough economic times upon us, agencies that place children in foster care may feel the effects of the weakened market.
According to Executive Director Liz Mason, the Children?s Aid and Family Services agency has started to see cutbacks in state funding for families supporting foster children.
The decrease in funding is coupled with an increase in clients coming to the agency for help.
?There?s a lot of people in the community really hurting,? said Mason
The New York Giants have stepped up for the agency, donating $500 a touchdown to Children?s Aid.
