Those who knew four of the suspects in the alleged plot to attack Fort Dix are shocked by the allegations and the arrests.
The three Duka brothers, Dritan, Shain and Eljvir, regularly attended services at the Islamic Center of South Jersey. Worshippers said the men seemed like nice people. One worshipper said she?s appalled that people who prayed in the mosque may have spent their days and nights planning to kill.
The three brothers, who lived in Cherry Hill, are accused of planning to attack soldiers at the Fort Dix Army base. Serdar Tatar, Ibrahim Shnewer and Agron Abdullahu have also been accused in the plot. A probe into the allegations began over a year ago when an employee at the Mt. Laurel Circuit City alerted police about a tape containing what appeared to be terrorist training.
Meanwhile, the father of Serdar Tatar is shocked by the allegations against his son. Tatar used to work in his father?s pizza shop. However, Tatar?s father said his son hasn?t worked at the shop in over a year. He adds he?s had limited contact with Tatar for quite some time.
