The NFL hosted its Play 60 STEM Combine Experience at the Lucile Palmaro Clubhouse Boys & Girls Club in Castle Hill on Thursday.
The event was hosted alongside former NFL linebacker Emmanuel Ellerbee and his foundation, Bee's Believers, and aimed to bridge the gap between athletics and education.
"It's really a really a human test to be able to show how sports and different types of science principles show up in actual football," said Ellerbee.
The goal of the NFL's Play 60 program is to encourage kids to be active for at least 60 minutes a day.
"There's been research done to kind of show that 60 minutes of play a day will keep a kid healthier and help fight childhood obesity," said an NFL representative.
